When we engage with you through our gardening services, we work with you to assess your needs and develop a plan that fits your goals. We can book one-time sessions or establish a regular working/maintenance relationship. Either is possible depending on your budget. We offer:

How we garden with you

We prefer to be flexible when first engaging and are willing to take on any task at any budget. This is a basic overview of our process and how we’ll work together:

  1. First, we’ll establish the basics in a free consultation. We’ll examine your space, assess your gardening goals, discuss how much time and money you have to spend, and discuss any other nuances of what you would like to do. 

  2. After this consult, we’ll then work together to develop a plan for your outdoor space and determine a budget. 

  3. If necessary, we can develop a new layout for your environment and implement whatever is necessary for success. This can include some light construction and hardscaping, but be aware that we are not landscape contractors and the scope of any construction work must be limited. Our specialty is spending time on the soil and plantings while working with you to nurture any new or existing plants in your yard. 

  4. After everything is in the ground, it is important to create a maintenance schedule. We’ll work on whatever format is most convenient for you and make sure you are ready to tackle any task required for your space.

  5. After this, we’ll play it by ear! If you want us to keep coming and help with tasks you have, we’d be happy to! If you want to run with it yourself, even better! 

We’ll be happiest when you don’t need our services at all. Our goal is to get you up and running on skills you may not currently have, and then let you explore gardening your space on your own. Developing a love of growing things is really what we hope everyone can ultimately do, no matter their experience level.
